About
Born in Cairo in 1984, Amr Abdelfattah is a professional & session drummer. He was lucky to start his drumming study with Mr. Amr youssef and the great drummer Mr. Ashraf Fouad who had the main impact on Amr’s drumming.Amr started touring outside Egypt to perform in France at DUC de Lombard jazz club in Paris. This was one of the most important places that gave him the opportunity to gain his musical experience and play with world-class level musicians & meet different cultures.
Amr continued touring to perform with many music groups like "Circle of Four” Jazz Group, “Crazy Gabanas” Latin project, and “Looperia Project” Gnawa music. He performed in many countries like the USA and the United Araba Emirates and performed in international festivals like Fête de la musique in Dubai and “all-stars blues event” in Miami USA and Cairo Jazz Festival in Egypt among others.
He is currently teaching drums at The Music Hub.
