George Nabil was born in Cairo, Egypt in the year 1991. When he was 7 years old, he started playing the piano by ear. He started studying classical piano when he was 12 years old. Being inspired by jazz music, George started studying Jazz piano and the theory of music under Mr. Rami Attallah.
George started his music career playing the piano in "Leila" the musical, with Maestro Mohamed Saad Basha in MUST Opera House. Currently, he is the main pianist of the Riff Band, Ahmed Nazmi group, Samer George group and Mohamed Abo Zekry group.
He plays Keyboard and piano with Nouran AbuTaleb and her band. He also performed with Aida El Ayoubi and Lena Chamamyan.
George performed in the 11th Cairo Jazz festival 2019 with the Circle of four jazz group where he performed two of his compositions and other jazz standards. In addition, he played in the 12th Cairo Jazz festival 2020 with Ahmed Nazmi group and Samer George Trio.
George recorded the Keyboard part with Dina El Wedidi in her song “Kont Bakhaf” and with Nouran AbuTaleb in her song “Fil Lail”.
George has recently launched his youtube channel “Enjazz EG” which is a fusion project that aims to deliver a modernized interpretation of Middle Eastern music along with Jazz harmonization. With almost now 3000 subscribers, he posted 3 videos and working to post more videos.
